Karl Cook of Rancho Santa Fe Helps Secure Team USA Silver Medal

Karl Cook, a prominent figure in American equestrian sports, and resident of Rancho Santa Fe - was a standout performer for Team USA aboard his brilliant mare, Caracole. 

Playing a pivotal role in securing the Silver Medal for Team USA at their first Olympics, learning just that morning they would be not the alternate but taking Kent Farrington’s place as his horse had a slight cough.   

As your Equestrian Editor, my seat, in the iconic choice of venue, steeped in the grandeur of French history and culture was a breathtaking backdrop ensuring that the competition will be visually stunning as it was intense.
